Protection Spell

Existing in separate times
will not keep us apart.
We are here, together, under a spell
formed in the shifting light of stars
and the love they have collected
in the hours, days, years, of their waiting.
Waiting to see you again
to hold you and protect you
to remind you that you exist beyond time
and will forever be loved
and will not be forgotten.

Jennifer Lommers

Jennifer Lommers is a professional artist living in Corvallis, Oregon. While Lommers spends most of her time working with fiber, paper, and paint, she often writes to examine material relationships and human-scale timelines through her narrative art. Lommers finds writing poetry helps her to decode these connections.
