This piece is constructed with repurposed knit fibers and monotypes, in addition to photographs and postcards collected from a Chicago antique store. Intrigued by the black-and-white photograph with a handwritten description on the back, "Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun - Aug 1949," Lommers created a new homage to this long-lost memento in her prose poem named for the art.
