“Returning to Mother Earth”
This painting started out beside Painting No. 1 in this series,“Galactic Pods: Garden of the Gods”, and, as with the first, with a simple desire to return to the abstract poppy pods of my past. I was quickly drawn to the circular and dotty structure that developed in the design and enjoyed reminiscing on this particular style, with a faint allusion to the work of Klimt, and in which I love to paint.
The 20 paintings I’m creating in 2024 will be added to my studio store in a “Reverse Auction” format. (The price will start at my maximum desired amount and will be reduced approximately every 2 weeks until it reaches a price minimum.) Signed Prints will be offered through my studio as soon as the painting is scanned and proofs are adjusted and approved (approximately 2-3 weeks after the original is listed for sale).

Created on a custom-built Stretched Canvas, 1.5 in. depth
Painted with artist-quality paints and finished with a coat of Gamvar varnish for protection
Signed and dated on the back with metallic archival ink
Ready to hang and enjoy
