“This vintage collage is layered with a page from my childhood birding book, “A Guide to Field Identification, Birds of North America”, 1966; a 1906 inscription in “The Poetical Works of Sir Walter Scott, Bart” published in London by George Routledge & Sons; Vintage botanical postcard; vintage Easter Seal stickers; and salvaged threads from my personal collection of fibers.

When assembling this piece I was thinking of Spring and the messages of those who are gone imagined as verses sung by the birds returning to their nests.”
